Some things change.
One ritual never did.

I'm Eray, the person behind voyn

I spent many years working for a large company in Türkiye. In 2020, I moved to the UK, where life took me through different jobs, new places and plenty of new beginnings. Through all those changes, one thing stayed exactly the same: my love of coffee.

However early my day starts, I wake up an hour before I need to. That time is for making coffee, enjoying it slowly and finding a quiet moment before the day begins. It has been my morning ritual for as long as I can remember.

I'd always dreamed of opening a coffee shop of my own. voyn is that dream, finally taking shape in a South Croydon neighbourhood. A little place where I can share something I've loved for years — and, hopefully, become a small part of your daily routine too.

We tried coffees from many speciality roasters before finding the one that felt right for voyn

80 Stone Coffee Roasters stood out for the knowledge of the people behind it, its independent approach and, above all, the character of its coffee. Having a roaster with local roots mattered to us, too.

We chose Off-Trend as our house espresso. It's bold and full-bodied, with a comforting richness and a flavour that speaks for itself. It's the coffee we wanted to make every morning — and the one we hope you'll look forward to coming back for.
